STRETCH
A guided session designed to help you move better, feel looser, and recover faster. This class focuses on gentle stretching and mobility work, making daily movement easier and reducing aches and stiffness.

ZONES
A low-impact, cardio-focused session designed to build your fitness—without jumping or high-impact moves.
You’ll work through different zones at your own pace, keeping your heart rate up and improving stamina in a way that feels doable and enjoyable. Great for anyone looking to boost their cardio fitness without putting strain on their joints.
BOOTCAMP
A social, team-driven session that combines strength, cardio, and movement in a way that keeps things fun and motivating.
It’s all about getting stuck in, working together, and feeling great afterwards. No drill sergeants—just good energy, variety, and a great workout in a supportive group.


BUILD
A strength-focused class designed to help you feel stronger and more capable in everyday life.
Using a mix of resistance-based exercises, this class helps you improve muscle tone, confidence, and technique—providing the perfect challenge in a pressure-free environment.
Wall-to-wall motivation
Working out with your friends makes you more accountable and more motivated.
It’s also a great way to push each other further and get through difficult routines. And at the end, there’s always time for a chat, a smoothie in the Recharge Room and a chance to celebrate another milestone on your fitness journey.
The welcome is first class, an effort is made by all to make you feel at ease, the training is excellent with real clarity in the how and why for each exercise and every coach is aware of individual needs though the clever approach they take in noting all personal requirements.
I took the 30 day intro offer which was a great way to see how things operate and what’s on offer and now I’ve signed up to continue my fitness journey with the Power Team 💪💪

I joined POWER for a 30 day trial to see if the gym was for me, and if the team could accommodate the fact I was struggling with a weak lower back. Lots of gyms make out they can help, yet never follow up or seem to genuinely care. But POWER actually care!! The team have been amazing, they have tailored my SGPT sessions to help build strength in my lower back, regularly checked-in by text and in-person to see how my back is and if further modifications are needed. The SGPT’s really do work, as I was sceptical of this. But genuinely everyone is listened to and seen! The classes and the staff are fun too….just check out Tom’s classes 😂🤩!! The staff really do give you the energy you need to feel empowered, especially on those days you don’t think you have it in you. You truly do walk out smiling after a session or class. Best decision I could have made with a gym! …….thank you Erin, Young Sam and Old Sam! You’ve really stood out, and taken the extra mile with me!

What fitness classes do you run at Power Guiseley?
Four core classes, each built around a different goal: STRETCH for mobility and recovery, ZONES for low-impact cardio fitness, BOOTCAMP for strength and cardio in a team format, and BUILD for resistance-based strength work. All classes are coach-led and suitable for adults of any age and fitness level.
Do I need to be a Power member to join classes?
Yes, classes are included as part of your Power membership. There’s no extra cost on top, and you can attend as many as you like each week.
Are the classes suitable for beginners and people over 40?
Yes. Most of our members are 40-plus, and the classes are built to be low-pressure, low-impact and progressable. Coaches scale every exercise to your level, so you’ll never feel out of your depth or pushed beyond what’s right for your body.
What’s the difference between SGPT and your fitness classes?
SGPT gives every person their own personalised programme inside the session. Classes run a shared routine for everyone in the room, with a coach guiding and scaling as needed. Most members combine both: SGPT two or three times a week, classes on top for mobility, cardio or extra strength.
Which class should I try first?
STRETCH is the easiest entry point if you’re new or rebuilding after a break. ZONES is a great low-impact starter for cardio fitness. BUILD suits anyone wanting to get stronger. BOOTCAMP is the fastest-paced and best once you’ve found your feet. Your coach can recommend the right starting point at your kickstart consultation.
How do I book a fitness class at Power Guiseley?
Through the Power app. Once you’re a member, you can see the full timetable, book any class on the hour, and manage your bookings on the go. Sessions run from early morning through to evening, Monday to Saturday.
